Anthony Owens, LCSW, MAC

Nick Astore is a Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor. He is currently continuing his education in Clinical Social Work. He is the primary counselor for Alcohol and Drug abuse Services at Franklin Recovery Center.

 

Nick has extensive experience in Dual Diagnosis Treatment. He has served as a primary counselor, program coordinator, and director at multiple facilities including Freeman Recovery Center, Educare, and Mirror Lake Recovery Center. He specializes in substance abuse services. He is trained in several therapeutic modalities including Motivational Enhancement, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, and Trauma Informed Care.

Nick has a compassionate understanding towards the process of working through one's painful experiences in order to change problematic ways of coping.

Tony Owens is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and holds numerous addiction counseling certifications including Master Addictions Counselor. He is currently the Executive Director/Clinical Director of Sage Counseling Groups in Franklin, Tennessee.

 

Tony has extensive training in the treatment court best practices, ten guiding principles of recovery courts and the implementation of co-occurring programs to support recovery courts. He has worked at the Parthenon Pavilion and Rolling Hills Hospital with severely persistent mentally ill persons. He is trained in several mental health modalities including Wellness Recovery Action Plan, Trauma and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. He specializes in substance abuse and mental health assessments. His presentations include motivational enhancement, Medical Assisted Treatment, drug court ten guiding principles, pharmacology and ethics.

 

Tony provides clinical supervision for candidates pursuing Licensed Alcohol & Drug Abuse Counselor and License Clinical Social Worker. He is a staunch advocate for treatment alternatives to incarceration.
